#OOTD

I’ve definitely become more confident in who I am as I have got older, and one way this manifests itself is that I like to experiment with my style a bit more.  Ten years ago, I was in ballet pumps and skinny jeans every day.  And now, it’s more like five times a week.  Kidding.  But seriously, sometimes I see styles I like and think how could I tailor them to me, to make them fit with my style and personality, so that when I wear them I don’t look like a grown woman in fancy dress.  The lace up sweater was one style I really loved, but so many of them were super baggy and oversized that they just didn’t work for me. But then I stumbled across this more fitted, cropped option in All Saints and it was love at first sight.  So the moral of the story is, do more shopping. No. The moral of the story is if you find a trend you like, think about how you can make it fit with your look and find the right variation on the theme that works for you.
